The following is a conversation i'm having with someone who keeps dodging my arguments, he contacted me after a long discussion on a YouTube Video, I'm trying to point out the fact he isn't been lied too by science, and trying to prove that the religious attitudes towards itself are subjective.
My response to him;
I value your sincerity but that doesn't make anything you say more valid.
You keep referring to Satan as a real, physical being, how am i supposed to take your word that a force like that exists, because i've spoken to lot's of different religious people and very few believe in Satan, almost none, are these people reading the same book as you? Also what about Mormons, they believe only black slaves make it into heaven. Christians read the same book yet conclude completely different ideas, which is why i don't listen to them, whats the point when they are say the believe in God, but they think god has told them all different rules to believe in.
And what about that old religious guy who keeps coming out saying the world is going to end, there are others that keep coming out saying it, on what authority do they have the right to say such things?!
You say you don't believe in Evolution, because people are brainwashing you, Who exactly is brainwashing you?
Scientific studies can be performed by anyone, and are only considered if they have sufficient evidence to prove that what is proposed is real, or else it's just a theory and even a theory needs some evidence to start the research, and if they are wrong they are wrong and it goes no further.
Evolution is a fact of life, because you can see it, look at dogs, dogs are bred from wolves, yet in our lifetime we've been able to selective breed them to make new breeds of dogs, you can sit there and say well that's not an example, or just don't believe in it, but look at Chihuahuas, they are bred from Wolves, but look nothing like a wolf, you can sit there and say THEY ARENT RELATED. But they are because we bred them, now look at the significant difference between a wild wolf and a chihuahua, the only difference is because of how we've done it, forced bred and over a short unnatural period of time, the Chihuahua has NEGATIVE health benefits, where as natural selection evolution is what helps keep a species alive and improving it, over a long period of time.
Just look at our own body, when was the last time you used your appendix, if it hasn't already been removed? Why would God put us on earth with an Appendix, specifically made for us eating Raw Meat, when God created us, he only intended us to eat the fruits of the garden of eden? And now all of a sudden we have this thing for digesting Raw Meat, that is also now useless to us because we cook everything, it can also explode and kill us, does that sound smart to you? Or that a over a long period of time our own body can change significantly enough that we don't need an internal organ anymore?
Evolution might not have 100% the facts perfect, but has more evidence than creationism can ever have, because creationisms only source is a book, and you can't hold up a book and shout "ITS SCIENCE" just because you refuse to believe the other options, that have more backing and evidence than creationism.
Creationists are constantly bashing carbon dating saying it's wrong, so these scientists that specialize in analyzing it, going to university for years, studying it, refining it's practice, refining it's method to as accurate as possible, within 10 years of error, but because creationists believe the earth is 6000 years old, it means carbon dating is wrong, but not only that, its wrong by hundreds of millions of years, Is any science that bad in the modern day where they can be wrong by such a high number? Or is this people just opposing something that disproves their theory? My point exactly, its subjective, to believe what they want to believe...
Creationists also believe that the dinosaurs lived with man, and were vegetarian... look at some dinosaur teeth... lots had razor sharp and curved to cut through flesh and meat, most animals that only eat vegetables only have about 4 teeth, which are flat like the ones at the back of our mouth, because vegetables and fruits are fairly easy to eat, evolution allows them to not need to develop razor sharp teeth because they survive on soft food.
Your views are subjective, i have nothing to gain from been right, where as you ave everything to loose if you're wrong. THIS IS HOW SUBJECTIVE VIEWS WORK.
Have a quick glance at this article, it's a pro-creationist view on dinosaurs, the specific part i want for you to read it's the part where it says 'When did dinosaurs live?'

This paragraph at the bottom is so subjective, you can't accept subjective opinions;

Adding up the ages of the people spawned from Adam and Eve IS NOT A SCIENCE, nowhere in life NOWHERE could you get away with saying something like this is fact, they also say - "Thus, if the Bible is right (and it is!)" ...so subjective.
Now look at this for the argument...
"No scientist was there to see the dinosaurs live through this supposed dinosaur age. In fact, there is no proof whatsoever that the world and its fossil layers are millions of years old. No scientist observed dinosaurs die."
No Christian observed the Earth been created by god, or the Adam and Eve story, or Noah's Ark, or ALL THE PEOPLE been alive between Adam and Eve and Noah's Ark which is what allows for them to make up how old the earth was, No Christian observed the life, death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, The Bible was written by people who were not alive to observe any of these things happening, so let me rephrase the last point the Creationist website pointed out...
"No scientist observed dinosaurs die." ...
"No christian observed the bibles stories."
Their own subjective opinion allows them to change the perception of how they analyze evidence, it's the same point, but it's only applied to the thing they are trying to disprove, not their beliefs which should be analyzed the in the same unbiased way...
You talk about Satan and lying and cheating, warping the minds of people to change their beliefs, how can you not see that this is what religious people are doing, they are doing exactly what you say is inspired by Satan, they are LYING to everybody.
Whether you like it or not, we have to be honest and be true to what is right, these people are fucking lying, they are doing the wrong thing for their own benefit, selfish, lying, cheating excuses for humans.
This is why i fight for freedom from religion, not because i hate religion, but because i hate the fact that people are fucking liars and they are doing it to deceive us. ITS NOT RIGHT.
Please don't dodge my arguments, i understand you are a happy christian and it's changed your life, but it doesn't mean you're right, i have clearly proved these people are subjective liars. Please respond to my points and try and defend them for your faith, and if you can't please elaborate on why you can't support these other religious peoples beliefs, as i understand you could be any type of christian with any type of belief.
